Biography
Dr. Rahul Gogoi is the First Fellowship trained Facial Plastic Surgeon in Assam and North east India. He is also among very few surgeon to have the expertise to operate a cosmetic rhinoplasty under Local anesthesia, that is cosmetic and functional nose surgery without hospital admission.

He has operated over 1000 Maxillo-Facial & Facial Plastic surgeries. He has one of the highest number of Aesthetic rhinoplasty surgeries in Northeast india.

Dr Rahul Gogoi was always passionately driven by his quest to excel in field of surgery, after completing his residency in Maxillo-Facial Surgery, which as the name suggest is surgical specialty of the Face!! This led him to visit and learn under prominent surgeons of different specialty with common interests. He has visited Dr Kasturi Bhattacharjee well known Oculoplastic surgeon all over India, Dr Nabil Fakih, the vice president of Spanish Society of Facial Plastic Surgery for Fellowship training in Facial Plastic Surgery, in June 2020 he was conferred the Fellow of International Association of Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery (Chicago USA) having met international standard in surgical skills

To his credit, Dr. Rahul also established developed the Department of Facio-maxillary & Plastic Surgery at GATE Hospital, Guwahati between 2017 - 2019 operating over 200 cases there in the process.
