POST RHINOPLASTY RECOVERY

Nose cast and stitches are removed 10 days post surgery. After that night bandaging is advised for a period of one month. Nasal massages are also advised to mould and keep the nose bridge straight. It is also important to use good moisturiser to keep the skin healthy. Oral intake of vitamins and anti-oxidants is beneficial for the healing. Smoking should avoided at all cost as it impairs the healing process negatively impacting the healing of the nose. The nose also remains extremely delicate for about 6-8 weeks and extreme care should be taken to protect it from any kind of injury.
